We have our tunes from the gods of music in Konkani including Wilfy Remimbus, Eric Ozario, Melwin Peris, Claud DSouza, Henry Dsouza, Remo Fernandes and the like, We are known for Baila (Konkani Folk Beat) from Goa, Mangalore and SriLanka. The band has its own compositions and has credit of being amongst the first Konkani bands to be on i-tunes. Tell us more about the Konkani and the Baila music you play? Having said that, we have a large fan following, be it in Bangalore, Mysore, Chennai or Mangalore who find charm in good music irrespective of the language. We decided to bring that Konkani feel to Bangalore with popular Konkani songs along with our own compositions from our album Sens Forever. What made you go with Konkani and Baila songs?Īt a time where all young musicians are taking on rock and fusion, we decided to stay with our roots, our background, our mother tongue, our culture we all grew up in Mangalore where there are a good number of Catholics speaking Konkani.

The band has worked on producing about 1000 plus midis that cater to all taste. The band has 2 members -Joyline and I, who play the keyboards, while Midi formats help us show off with some cool mixing. Not to discount the hardship bands face of putting together people for practice and live shows, was also a good reason to make it large with fewer hands. The small venues of Bangalore also made our idea more compelling of getting a 5 member band compressed into digital synthesisers and that’s where we decided to go digital with music way back in 2005.
